New mural gets financial boost

North Battleford neighbours in the Meighen Crescent area have put their talents and energies together to create a new street mural.

The City of North Battleford assisted with the project by providing the paint and supplies.

With the high temperatures that will be hitting the province within the next little bit, Environment Canada says indicating a heat warning is extremely important to the health of Canadians.

Meteorologist explains heat warnings

With the temperatures getting warmer outside, one meteorologist said it’s important to understand why heat warnings are issued and what the heat can do.

A high pressure zone over the Prairies is sucking hot air from the United States and bringing the likelihood of daily record temperatures to the Prince Albert and La Ronge areas this week.

Heat wave bringing record daily temperatures: Environment Canada

After a hot, dry spring we're now in for more record-breaking temperatures this week as we officially enter summer.

The temperatures are expected to be up to 12 degrees hotter than normal for this time of year and a heat warning is in effect for the La Ronge area.
