Charity poker run supports local veterans

Local area motorcyclists are invited to shine up their ride and come out to the annual Canadian Legion of Riders Charity Poker Rally on Saturday, July 14 in North Battleford.

The Ride for a Vet event, in its 16th year raises money to support area veterans in need.

Environment Canada issued a special weather advisory for the area which may result in the development of funnel clouds such as this one from last spring, today in the Battlefords and Meadow Lake areas.
