Battlefords Community Players – Always Open to New Members/Patrons

Jul 4, 2018 | 12:28 PM

See you at the Theatre

This is an open invitation to get involved with Battlefords Community Players, a club that has been around since 1952 and is always open to new members and patrons.

Do you want to see how you might help the club or how you can get tickets?

Drop in on July 9th between 5:30pm and 8:30pm at 102-26th Street, Battleford and find out.

Are you interested in getting first-hand information on the season; to book your tickets?

Maybe you like to sew and could help with costumes or love to paint – we need that too.

Theatre requires no experience just the desire.  We all began with the first, whether working on the stage or behind, it takes a lot of people to mount a production. There is a place for everyone.

This year, 2018-2019, we are producing 4 shows as part of our season, one show as a special kick off to the season and two other special shows for the Tropical Inn and Borden Lions Club.

Yes, we do offer productions for fundraisers to community groups.  Give us a call if you think that might work for your organization.

You would think that we would take the summer off and for the most part we do but we have plays to cast and more improvements to be done in the building. We also have brochures and posters to create, website and facebook to update, caterers to hire and most importantly give the opportunity to new people to get involved.

What we create on stage for our audiences is just a small part of the work that is needed to make a performance a reality.  Drop by on the 9th and check us out.

If you can’t make it and would like information, give us a call at 306-446-3133.

Keep watched bcpdrama.com for information on the upcoming season and drop by to get a sneak peek.

Thanks and see you at the theatre.
