To improve health a habit change is helpful. This is not necessarily easy, organizing, planning leads to a successful change of habits and improves a healthy lifestyle.

To improve eating habits also improved motivation to exercise, which in turns achieves a happier, healthier, longer life. As Hippocrates said: “Let food be our medicine and our medicine be our food.” Using food source supplements to improve our health we are also using the ageless advice of Hippocrates.

Prairie Naturals 8 week to wellness program is designed to improve your health, support the loss of excess weight and increase energy levels.

Step1:  Each morning, start your day with the very refreshing drink of Morning Rise and Shine Lemon and Aloe drink – 1 tsp. adding 1 tbsp. of Blueberry or Cranberry Greens.  This is a very alkalizing, cleansing energizing drink that edges the liver to work more effective each day. It helps repair digestion and nutrient absorption and prepares the body for increased serotonin production to elevate mood and reduce craving.

Step 2:  The first two weeks into the wellness program, complete 2 Recleanse Herbal Cleanse 7-day Whole Body Detox. One right after the other. This encourages gentle yet thorough cleansing. It is important to follow the meal plan guide found in the Recleanse Box.  The meal plan will satisfy your taste buds and provide the balance of macro-nutrients required for maximizing natural detoxification.

Step 3:  To maximize the Recleanse 7-day Detox take 1 tbsp. Recleanse Fibre powder into 1 glass of filtered water on an empty stomach. Alternatively, or in addition, chew 2 Recleanse fibre chewables 3 times a day.  This ensures adequate intake of soluble fibre and colonization of friendly bacteria for bowel health.

Step 4:  Daily exercise, 20 to 30 minutes of exercise before breakfast. A variety of exercise including rebound, yoga, stretching, brisk walking and weight training.  You will quickly notice a new energy and optimism.

Step 5:  A hearty easy digested vegan & organic protein smoothie. This is a fast and easy breakfast. They are loaded with polyphenol and other concentrated Phyto (plant) nutrient. Prairie Naturals has quality protein powders that are organic & vegan sources- Rice Hemp or Ancient Grain with one scoop of Multi-Force.  This multi-vitamin has a high ORAC powder of multi-vitamin and minerals with berry and fruit sources antioxidants. Boost the Green Super Food intake add Organic Barley Grass or Wheat Grass Powder. Remember protein is needed everyday when you cleanse.  Protein feeds muscle repair and growth, satisfies appetite and stabilizes blood sugar and supplies tryptophan to the brain for mood elevation and reduction of cravings.

Step 6:  Pmega3 or Omega3-6-9 your choice. We need the omega fats for optimal functioning, memory and brain health, serotonin production for mood control, tissue repair and inflammation.

Step 7:  This is a perfect chance to enjoy the subtler, simpler flavours of whole foods in addition to your fortified shakes and two meals from the Recleanse Herbal Cleanse Meal Plan. Use to check out new recipes.  If weight loss is wanted remember men should keep their caloric intake to 1500 to 2000 calories, women between 1200 and 1500 calories.

Step 8:  Drink lots of water! Figure it out by dividing your body weight in pounds by 2. The number you come up with is approximate number of ounces of water you need in a day.

At the end of your 8 weeks to wellness you can incorporate more of the wholesome foods that you love back into your eating routine. But remember one of the key mottos of wellness- All thing in balance and moderation.

Always check with your health care professional before starting any supplement program.
