RCMP and SGI are reminding residents to take special care on Saskatchewan roads and highways heading into the long weekend, saying you’re more likely to be involved in a collision while travelling on a long holiday weekend than during any other time of year.

Whether you are soaking up the rays, enjoying a boat ride or a nice relaxing swim this weekend, you should always be aware of the weather conditions that could turn deadly. That’s the warning from John Paul Cragg of Environment Canada.

CT Replacement to begin in N.B.

It’s been a long-time coming but North Battleford Union Hospital (BUH) will finally have its new computerized tomography (CT) scanner in place by mid-September and patients will see no interruption in local scanning services during the changeover.

To say Shae Maunula and the organizing committee of the Second Annual Brian Maunula Memorial Junior Golf Tournament are excited for this year’s event would be an understatement.

That’s according to his mother Jaime Maunula.

The Unity Cardinals are one win away from capturing their first ever North Saskatchewan River Senior Men’s Baseball championship.

The Cardinals doubled the Border City Blue Jays 4-2 on Monday night in Lloydminster to take the opening game of the best-of-three championship series.
