Country singer Garth Brooks says it is an honour to be playing in Gordie Howe's hometown.

He opened his back-to-back shows Friday night wearing a Gordie Howe Detroit Red Wings jersey honouring the hockey legend who passed away earlier in the day.

Saskatoon woman dies during triathlon in Kelowna, B.C.

Friends and family are mourning after a Saskatoon woman, 57, died during a triathlon over the weekend.   

Noreen Wensley, a local music teacher and piano player, was taking part in the swimming portion of the Cherry Blossom Triathlon in Kelowna, B.C. when she went into cardiac arrest.

There's a lot of backlash from cattle farmers after a business decision by Earls restaurant.

The chain is moving to become the first in North America to serve "100 per cent Certified Humane" beef.

Three youth charged, two warned in Saskatoon salvage yard fire

Five boys are believed to be behind a massive fire that caused heavy black smoke to be seen far past Saskatoon city limits last week.

Saskatoon police said three youth have been charged, and two others warned, in relation tothe industrial fire near Avenue P and 14th Street.
