Garth Brooks releases more tickets for Saskatoon shows

If six shows weren’t enough, more seats have opened for fans to see country superstar Garth Brooks in Saskatoon.  

Additional tickets for all six performances went on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.

The shows mark 20 years since Brooks played Saskatchewan.

Cheers to beer: Graham DeLaet stirs up local flavour with new craft brew

A new craft beer with Saskatchewan roots will soon be swinging onto shelves.

PGA Tour golfer, and Weyburn product, Graham DeLaet has teamed up with Bomber Brewery to launch his own brew aptly named Prairie Baard – Blue Collar Craft.

Saskatoon man, 58, charged with making, sharing child porn

A child pornography investigation has led police to arrest a 58-year-old Saskatoon man.

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged Gerhard H. Maynard with accessing, possessing and making child pornography available to others.

Saskatoon police said the man was arrested Thursday morning and charged with manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death and failure to provide the necessities of life.

Manslaughter charge laid in death of 8-month-old baby girl in Saskatoon

A 27-year-old Saskatchewan man faces charges after the death of a baby in January.

Saskatoon police said officers received a 911 call around 8 a.m. on Jan. 29 regarding an unresponsive eight-month-old baby girl at an apartment in the 100 block of Avenue P South.
