Durant scores in OT to secure Riders' second win

The Riders defence has held the Eskimos to a field goal, so a touchdown will win it.

It’s six yards into the end zone and the second win into the season.

Riders’ LaBatte and Best likely out for the year, Roosevelt questionable

For the second day in a row, Naaman Roosevelt did not practice with the Roughriders.

On Wednesday, head coach Chris Jones said Roosevelt was being assessed for a lower leg injury. Roosevelt went down hard on his kneed during the Banjo Bowl last week.

‘Dream come true’ for Riders’ Newsome to be in video game

Growing up everyone has a dream they hope will turn into reality.

For Roughriders’ defensive end Jonathan Newsome, that was to play professional football. One of his greatest “I made it” moments was making the popular football video game Madden NFL.

A few days removed and Roughrider fans are still talking about the Justin Cox pass interference call at the end of the Labour Day Classic.

At the end of the game on Sunday, Cox was insistent that he did not touch Weston Dressler and the referees got it wrong.
