Kindersley’s Buttar lead Canadian in 2018 PBR rankings after World Finals

After five days of action in Sin City at the 2018 PBR World Finals, Kindersley’s Dakota Buttar ends his season as the top-ranked Canadian in the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) world standings.

Entering the event ranked 14th in the world, Buttar finished a career-best 17th.

Going 1-for-5 at the PBR World Finals, he received the Glen Keeley Award for the second consecutive year. His qualifying ride for 82.75 points in Round 3 came aboard Milky Jones.

The 26-year-old came close to the buzzer in back-to-back rides, being bucked off in 7.65 seconds in Round 4 and falling just 0.01 seconds shy in Round 5.
