Four arrested on drug and weapons charges

Four people are facing multiple drug and weapons charges after they were arrested Saturday in Battleford.
The incident began when Battlefords RCMP responded to a weapons complaint at a residence in the 400-block of 33rd St. in Battleford. Their investigation resulted in four people being taken into custody for offences involving possession of prohibited weapons and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. A quantity of cash was seized as well.
The suspects were remanded into custody and will be appearing in Battlefords Provincial Court later today.
The charges have not been proven in court.
