Battleford RCMP are investigating a two-vehicle collision which occurred outside North Battleford Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened about 20 km north of the city, RCMP said, when a small SUV and a small car collided. The occupants were taken to the Battlefords Union Hospital by ambulance.

“Those involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries,” Staff Sgt. Darcy Woolfitt of the Battleford RCMP said. “It’s unclear right now as to the circumstances surrounding the collision, as the investigation is in its early stages.”

Woolfitt said it is still unclear whether charges will be laid.
