12 survivors of Humboldt crash remain in hospital: Health authority

Staff from the Saskatchewan Health Authority continue to work with the survivors of the Humboldt Broncos accident and as of noon today, April 9, 12 individuals remain in hospital.

According to a release from the authority, four patients are in critical condition, four remain in serious condition and four are in stable condition.

The authority is working to provide additional information within the parameters of privacy legislation.

Additionally, the authority has deployed mental health counsellors to support Humboldt residents.

The flags at the Saskatchewan Health Authority have been lowered to half-staff in recognition of the deceased.
