SaskPower is advising area residents of a planned power interruption early Tuesday morning from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. in North Battleford.

The area affected will be north of Territorial Drive, west of 99 St. and 30th Ave. to Saskatchewan Drive and some rural areas as well.

Jordan Jackle of SaskPower said that although 350 customers may be inconvenienced during that time it’s important for the work to be completed.

“We have scheduled this power outage from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. to reduce the impact it will have on our customers,” said Jackle. “The work is necessary as we need to do some prep work in order to replace a power pole in the area next week.”

Jackle added that he has been informed that the area will not see another power outage when the pole is in fact replaced.
