In each and every Battlefords North Stars broadcast this season on CJNB/CJNS, Nathan Kanter will be speaking with either a current North Star player or a North Star alumnus to dig a little deeper into their off-ice interests and, in the case of alumni, see what they’ve been up to since their playing days.
This time, we speak with Brent Salzl, now working with the RCMP doing crime scene forensics, who took part in the alumni game on Oct. 21.
He shares his fondest memories as a North Star, how he thinks the game has changed, and what it was like to win the club’s first championship in 2000.
