N.B. woman pleads guilty to defrauding Canada Post of $325,000

A local woman, who appeared in North Battleford provincial court Monday, will be sentenced in January after pleading guilty to defrauding Canada Post.

Former employee Susan Boyer pleaded guilty to the charge – by deceit, falsehood or other means, with intent to defraud Canada Post of cash money exceeding $5,000, by concealing funds obtained by Canada Post.  

The offence relates to dates between Jan. 5, 2011 and Oct. 1, 2015, in North Battleford, based on the RCMP report sworn on July 28, 2017.

Boyer is scheduled to be sentenced at 9:30 a.m., Jan. 8, 2018 in North Battleford provincial court.
