Man dies in highway accident near Lashburn

Maidstone RCMP are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Highway 684.

A car and a semi collided on the roadway Oct. 27 just after 5 p.m. A 25-year-old man from St. Walburg, who was driving the car, was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS. A 24-year-old man from Lloydminster, who was driving the semi, was sent to hospital in Lloydminster and discharged with only minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of an RCMP collision reconstructionist.
