Police arrested one man in connection to a violent break and enter in Martensville last weekend.

In the early morning hours of Sept. 30, a suspect entered the residence and engaged in an altercation with the male home owner.

After their investigation, Martensville RCMP charged local Darian Cote, 20, with several counts.

Cote was charged with break and enter, aggravated assault, wearing a disguise with intent, mischief under $5,000, and one count of failing to comply with an undertaking.

He appeared in court this morning and is due back on Oct. 5 in Saskatoon Provincial Court. The charges against him have not been tested in court.

Mounties say this is an isolated incident.
