Traffic stop results in over 60 charges

Over 60 charges have been laid between four people by Maidstone RCMP after a firearm and drug seizure north of Lloydminster.

RCMP said the four were charged on Wednesday, Sept. 17 after a traffic stop on Highway. 17.

Devin Nasby, 36, of St. Walburg, Nathan Wolfe, 20, of Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, Darek Weeseekase, 18, of Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation and Sloan Ochuschayoo, 24, of Big Island Cree Territory each received between 13 and 17 charges. The charges range from drug trafficking, firearms related offences and participation in a criminal organization.

All four are set to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Monday, Oct. 2.
