Bill Boyd facing environmental and wildlife charges
Just days before his retirement from politics and days after he was booted from the Saskatchewan Party, Bill Boyd is facing charges.
The Kindersley area MLA has been charged with three counts under The Environmental Management and Protections Act and one count under The Wildlife Habitat Protection Act.
The specifics of the charges including altering wildlife habitat and ecological lands, altering a waterway and removing material from the bottom of the water way.
It isn’t clear whether this pertains to his own farm land or Crown land that Boyd leases.
