Third N.B. business robbed in past week

Shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday, Battlefords RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a local business in North Battleford.

According to a statement released by police, two suspects entered the business and made a small purchase. While the cash register was open, one of the suspects pulled out what appeared to be a handgun and pointed it at the cashier prior to fleeing.

Police said there were no injuries.

The first suspect is described as a slender First Nations male with black, shaggy, collar length hair, roughly 5’7″ tall and wearing a dark coloured hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a slender First Nations male with short black hair, approximately 5’9″ in height and wearing a white t-shirt with black stripes on the arms and black lettering and a number on the back, possibly being a sports jersey.
