Wilson four strokes back of leader

Dave Wilson of North Battleford continues to chase Ken Rodgers of Regina after day two of the Gold Eagle Senior Provincial Golf Championships being played at the North Battleford Golf and Country Club on Wednesday.
Rodgers began the second round with a five stroke lead on Tuesday, however Wilson shaved a stroke off Rodgers lead, shooting the best round of the day with a 72 while Rodgers shot a 73. Keith Silvernagle of Biggar sits in fourth spot after the second day of competition with 10 strokes off the pace. North Battleford’s David Curniski and Doug Flasch both made the final round cut on Wednesday.
 
On the ladies side, there is a tie atop the leaderboard. Jo-Anne Schiller of Lloydminster and Lorie Boyle of Moose Jaw both have two day totals of 166. Schiller opened the day with a one-shot lead over the seven-time former champion. North Battlefords Cheryl Hartl who started two shots off the lead on Wednesday now sits 14 shots back after carding a second round 94.
 
The final round will be played today at the North Battleford Golf and Country.
