Loon Lake police investigating report of man with firearm

Loon Lake RCMP officers are investigating reports of a man entering a home on the Sahgaiehcan First Nation with a firearm.
Police say members continue to investigate how many others are in the residence. Earlier today, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation and Ernie Studer schools exercised hold and secure procedures due to proximity to the incident. Students are now released.
The public is asked to stay away from the area at this time and refrain from posting police photos or locations on social media.
