Rural schools and buses closed today

Due to the minus 40 temperatures most buses aren’t running and schools are closed in the rural areas in the Living Sky School Division (LSSD).

The LSSD listed unity, Medstead, Hafford, Unity, Wilkie, Cando and Cutknife as areas with closed schools, and confirmation is waiting on areas like Spiritwood and Macklin.

Buses route 9, J39, J34, J37, J38, J39, J40, and J43 were all confirmed as closed.

All schools and buses in the city and town are still listed as open.
