Sugar poured into gas tank, tires slashed

A North Battleford resident got more than a double-double without the coffee on Jan. 6.

RCMP responded to a vehicle damaged on the 700 block of 100 St. The parked vehicle had three tires slashed and sugar was poured into the gas tank.

The day prior, a vehicle on the 1400 block of 100 St. was hit. The hit and run happened between 4 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. The suspect vehicle is believed to have tail light damage and left blue paint on the vehicle during the incident.

There were also two cases of stolen vehicles on Jan. 6, a 1998 Brown Pontiac Trans Sport and a 1997 Purple Subaru Legacy Station Wagon. Both vehicles were stolen within blocks of each other, around 102 St. and 15 Ave.
