Aug 13, 2016 | 12:22 PM

A fire near the Battleford Union Hospital forced a resident to be removed.

The North Battleford Fire Department was called to a fourplex in the 1100 block of 107 St. shortly after four a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13.

Two engines, one tanker, one chief unit and 10 firefighters found flames and smoke venting from the building when they arrived on scene.

Fire fighters removed one occupant and quickly brought the fire under control. The two other occupants had already exited the building.
