Charges laid following suspicious death in Pelican Narrows

A 19-year-old man from Pelican Narrows is facing a charge of second degree murder.
Brett Napoleon Michel was arrested in relation to the death of Jordan Bedard on July 9, 2016 at the Pelican Narrows Health Clinic.
RCMP have determined Bedard attended a social gathering at a home in Pelican Narrows prior to being transported to hospital.
Michel made his first court appearance at Provincial Court in Pelican Narrows on July 18. His matter was adjourned until August 9, 2016 at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
