Jun 17, 2016 | 4:06 PM

Saskatoon man, Jerry Constant, 33, pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder Karina Beth Ann Wolfe and offering an indignity to human remains, during his court appearance his afternoon.

During the Court of Queen’s Bench proceedings Wolfe’s mom, Carol, used an interpreter to give her victim impact statement through sign language.

She said that she waited five-and-a-half years for news of her daughter, participated in searches, prayed she would find her way home. She talked about panic attacks and anxiety in the wake of the disappearance of Karina.

It was in 2010 that 20-year-old Karina went missing and in November 2015 the search came to an end as Saskatoon police confirmed her remains were found northwest of the city.
