ELECTION 2016: Brad Wall visits the Battlefords

Mar 21, 2016 | 4:16 PM

When SaskParty leader Brad Wall spoke with his supporters in North Battleford he asked one question: “Is Saskatchewan better today than it was eight years ago? There are 3,000 more nurses giving care right now than under the NDP,” he said during his speech at the SaskParty headquarters in North Battleford Monday March. 21.

“650 more doctors than under the NDP, 400 more teachers teaching. It’s been answered by 400 people with mental disability that no longer have to wait for a group home space. Hundreds of people who are no longer waiting on what was the longest wait time for surgeries in Canada under the NDP.”

Wall focused on the economy as the priority and thought what the people needed was a government worthy of the province and a plan for growth. He said his party is creating the right environment for growth with the lowering of competitive taxes and diversifying the economy.

Wall believes an economy pays for everything and without a strong one things like the new Saskatchewan Hospital couldn’t be built.
