Shipment of cocaine stopped by police

A shipment of drugs being transported out of Prince Albert will not make it to its destination.

A total of 62 grams of cocaine, two grams of marijuana and a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab were seized by police on Thursday, Feb. 25 near Beauval. 

Investigators believe the cocaine was being transported from Prince Albert and destined for the communities of Beauval and Pinehouse. 

Four people are now facing various drug related charges.

Dawad Dawad, 28, of Edmonton, is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.  He has been released from custody with a court date of April 4, in Meadow Lake.  Dawad was the registered owner of the Dodge Ram.

Karbino Deng Juach, 29, of Saskatoon, is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marijuana.  He was released with a court date of April 4 in Meadow Lake.

Butrus Marol, 27, of Calgary is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.  He also faces three counts of breach of recognizance as a result of two pending charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, from Calgary and Drumheller.  Marol was remanded in custody and will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday, Feb. 26.

Elaine Aubichon, 47, of Saskatoon, is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.  She was released with a court date of April 4 in Meadow Lake.
