A temporary cold spell sweeps across northwest

An end of the weekend cold snap hit the northwest hard but it won't be staying long.

Much of the northwest saw -20’s and even lower wind chills as temperatures dropped off Sunday and overnight in the Battlefords and Meadow Lake areas.

Unseasonably warm winter deters festival-goers
