Resource prices, health care among issues in Cut Knife-Turtleford

Tumbling oil prices have made their presence particularly felt in west-central Saskatchewan, an issue being raised with the candidates for Cut Knife-Turtleford during the provincial election campaign.

Ness Creek Music Festival up for provincial award

The Ness Creek Music Festival has been named as one of three finalists for the Sask Tourism Marquee Event of the Year award.
 
The award is given to an event that generates economic and cultural benefits for Saskatchewan, and attracts national and/or international spectators.

UPDATE: One man dead after shots were fired on Ahtahkakoop First Nation, suspect is still at large

One man is dead after a shooting took place on Ahtahkakoop First Nation near the health centre this morning. 

RCMP responded just before 10 a.m. to reports of shots being fired on the First Nation.
