When Karson, Ryane and baby Jasper Evanovich moved to Nipawin from North Battleford in March to begin their new lives with the Nipawin Apostolic Church, it was both exciting and scary for the young couple.

Battlefords residents taking in Séan McCann's performance at the Dekker Centre next month will see a softer side of the singer-songwriter who achieved fame with Canadian celtic-rock band Great Big Sea.

Battlefords Community Players win multiple awards at Theatrefest 2018

It was another memorable performance for the Battlefords Community Players (BCP).

The local theatre troupe, who have thrilled audiences with live theatrical entertainment for over 65 years, were the big winners at the 86th Annual Theatrefest 2018 held in Weyburn from April 1-8.

Wilkie to host vigil for Humboldt

Like many communities around the nation, the Town of Wilkie will soon be showing their support for the City of Humboldt, which is still reeling from the tragic bus accident that claimed the lives of 16 members of their Junior A Broncos organization last Friday.
