Driver charged following two vehicle collision near Biggar

One person has been charged following a two vehicle collision outside of Biggar Friday morning.

The incident happened approximately 10 kilometres south of Biggar on Highway 4 when a northbound SUV driven by an adult male and a southbound pickup truck driven by an adult female collided.

Overall crime numbers down in North Battleford

It was overall positive news for the City of North Battleford when the Battlefords RCMP gave its latest quarterly crime report to council earlier this week. 

The report covers the January to March quarter of this year.

RCMP warn leaving pets in hot cars is a crime

Mounties from the local detachment hope residents don't leave their pets in their vehicles this year as temperatures start to rise over 30 Celsius.
