ARC art reception provides creative space for creative kids

Kids got colourful at a North Battleford gallery on Tuesday.

The Creative Kids exhibition and workshop made its debut at ARC Creative Studios Tuesday, June 7. It was a chance for McKitrick School students to show off their creative side.

Elementary students to display artwork in gallery at upcoming exhibition

An opportunity for North Battleford to see the up and coming talent of the city’s young people will be coming to ARC creative studios downtown.

The Creative Kids Art Show will be holding its opening reception on Tuesday, June 7.

Many talented musicians don’t like tooting their own horn, but Barrie Redford – a North Battleford native with an affinity for the swinging sound of trumpet jazz is this year’s recipient of the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival’s prestigious Special Recognition Award.

Garth Brooks releases more tickets for Saskatoon shows

If six shows weren’t enough, more seats have opened for fans to see country superstar Garth Brooks in Saskatoon.  

Additional tickets for all six performances went on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.

The shows mark 20 years since Brooks played Saskatchewan.
