North Stars’ Baxter Kanter named playoff MVP

After taking his game to another level in the post season, North Stars graduating forward Baxter Kanter was named the team's playoff MVP at Thursday night’s banquet.

North Battleford Golf and Country Club opens for another season

Golfers might want to dust of their clubs ahead of the weekend because the North Battleford Golf and Country Club is now open for the season.

The 18-hole course opened its doors Thursday and director of golf Dana Johnson said he and his staff are excited for another year.

JP II cheers to victory in international competition

The John Paul II Collegiate Crusaders cheer team were big winners at an international cheerleading competition over the weekend.

The Crusaders won the Varsity Co-ed 4.2 division at the Sea to Sky Cheerleading Championships in Vancouver after a weekend of hard competition.
