The Moms Retreat was held January 15-17 in Saskatoon and was the biggest to date! With 45 moms from each corner of the province in attendance and nearly half of them brand new to the SACL, the weekend was filled with re-connecting with old friends and making new ones. Moms had the opportunity to share a bit of their journey with the group, laugh, cry and enjoy some well-deserved rest and rejuvenation. Some of the highlights included a limo-bus ride, painting, group dinners and as many moms commented “the chance to have a bath without someone banging down the door”. The Moms Retreat is one of a series of retreats put on by the SACL including Parents and Sibling Retreats held throughout the year. Stay tuned for information being released regarding upcoming events!
