Vawn Community Hall 6th Annual Snowmobile Rally

The Vawn Community Hall will be hosting our 6th annual Snowmobile Rally on February 25th, 2023.

Vawn is surrounded by many hills and the North Saskatchewan River which makes for some awesome snowmobile terrain.

Over the past few years our rally’s average attendance has been around 150 riders, with profits of approximately $5000/year.

Our community hall is a very busy place and we are proud to be able to provide this building to organizations and families at a reasonable rate. We also are in charge of the playground, skating rink, and the general maintenance and beautification of the village of Vawn.

Over the past few years we were able to renovate the Hall and purchase our newly acquired outdoor skating rink (that is currently being constructed).

Now it is time to shift our focus over to the park and playground. Our plans include purchasing new free-standing equipment to go with our existing equipment. We also hope to re-pave the basketball court and relocate the backstop north of its present location.

At the school monument we are going to install an old school bell that has been purchased. We also want to develop a few non-electrical campsites. The projected cost of this project is $50,000.

We are looking for donations that can be used for door prizes or silent auction items. As a sponsor of this event you will be acknowledged through posters and mentioned on our community Facebook page. During the rally we will also verbally acknowledge your contribution.
