Legislative building dome restoration to be unwrapped Monday night

Like a giant Christmas gift, the dome of the legislative building has been wrapped up for the last two years.

Undergoing $21-million restoration work to the stone, copper and decorative pieces, the famous dome has been under cover while the work was underway.

Fire ban, forecast improving wildfire threat in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan's wildfire situation remains severe but the weather forecast could improve things. 

As of Monday morning, 17 fires were burning in the province - all human caused. Fortunately there is no direct threat to communities near those blazes.
