BBBS thrilled with Wiffle Weekend

Officials with the Battlefords Branch of Big Brothers, Big Sisters (BBBS) were thrilled with the turnout for the third annual Wiffle Weekend tournament played this past weekend at the Battleford Arena, and plans are already in the works for next year’s event.

Award-winning children’s novelist coming to Battlefords

As part of the TD Canadian Children’s Book Week celebration, Lakelands Regional Library will host award-winning author Alan Cumyn at the St. Vital School in North Battleford on Thursday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m.

Community groups receive boost from United Way

Five local organizations benefitted from a successful 2016-2017 campaign by the Battlefords United Way.

Vendors old and new will take part in the North Battleford Farmers Market starting again for another season this Saturday on the Carousel Parking Lot from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

North Battlefords farmers market: the tradition continues

It’s been a tradition in North Battleford for over 30 years and it returns to our area this Saturday.

The North Battleford Farmers Market is set to reopen in the Carousel parking lots this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
