Radisson museum curator not deterred by break-in

When 13-year-old Judah Tyreman went to open his Sesula Mineral and Gem Museum and Rock Shop in Radisson on Sunday, he expected to see his familiar display that has been welcoming visitors to the area since 2016. But what he did find made him stop stone cold in his tracks.

Two local finalists for provincial tourism awards announced

A North Battleford business and a sporting event which put the area in the national spotlight are among the 33 finalists for the Saskatchewan Tourism Awards of Excellence.

The Wilkie Outlaws have taken a 1-0 series lead in their best of five SWHL playoff series with the Kindersley Red Lions after a 6-3 win on Sunday. Game two of the series begins Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.

The Wilkie Outlaws are one step closer to winning their fourth consecutive Saskatchewan West Hockey League title thanks to a 6-3 win over the Kindersley Red Lions in the series opener of their championship series on Sunday in Kindersley.

The organizing committee of the Battlefords Relay for Life has been busy planning the 2018 relay, which is slated for June 8 at the City Field in North Battleford's Centennial Park.
