CJNB garners nomination for SCMA award

When the Saskatchewan Country Music Association awards are handed out this year in Prince Albert, a local radio station could be recognized with some hardware.

Skip Robyn Silvernagle, third Stefanie Lawton, second Jessie Hunkin and lead Kara Thevenot will comprise the 2018-19 Team Silvernagle, representing the Twin River Curling Club of North Battleford.

New look for Team Silvernagle for 2018-19 season

When Team Silvernagle hits the pebbled ice this curling season, fans will notice significant changes which the North Battleford skip hopes will lead to the provincial curling title that has eluded the team for the past two years.

Sask. Hospital receives another substantial donation

The new Saskatchewan Hospital has received yet another sizeable donation for their New Beginnings Fundraising Campaign which will help purchase medical equipment and furniture for the hospital.

Battlefords RCMP to participate in gun amnesty program

The Battlefords RCMP detachment will join police forces from around Saskatchewan in the first ever provincial gun amnesty program, which begins Thursday.

For the second straight week, the New Beginnings Fundraising Campaign for the new Saskatchewan Hospital has received a major donation helping it inch closer to its $8 million campaign goal.
