Province to review property taxes for Saskatchewan daycares

The Saskatchewan government will take a look at the ad hoc approach to charging daycares property tax in our province.

Currently there is no consistency; some daycares pay nothing, others are charged residential rates and some pay massive commercial rates.

Community gathers 12 years after Tamra Keepness disappearance

This week marks 12 years since the disappearance of Tamra Keepness from her family's home in Regina.

On Tuesday, Regina Treaty Status Indian Services is hosting its now-annual Keepness barbecue, which continues to raise awarness about the missing girl.

Riders deal Shawn Lemon to Toronto for QB, offensive lineman

After losing to the Argonauts in the week-two season-opener Thursday night, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have made a trade with Toronto.
 
On Saturday, the green and white announced Shawn Lemon has been traded to the Argos, along with a conditional pick in the 2018 CFL draft.

Earl and Countess of Wessex to help celebrate Globe Theatre's anniversary

The Earl and Countess of Wessex arrive in Regina Wednesday as the royal couple helps celebrate the golden anniversary of a local theatre company.

It's Prince Edward's second visit to Saskatchewan in two years, but this marks the first time his wife, Sophie, has visited the city.
