Vancouver-based stuntman meets local kids in BEATS Encounter program

North Battleford students in the BEATS Encounter program had an opportunity to learn how to make a movie during a visit from professional stuntman Lauro Chartrand Tuesday.

Local business community shows support for Humboldt Broncos bus crash victims

The local Battlefords business community is stepping up to show its support for the victims in the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team bus crash Friday.

Battlefords vigil brings community together to remember bus crash victims

The Battlefords community came together Sunday evening for a vigil to remember the victims of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team bus crash.

City administrators and chamber members hope for favourable budget

Some local community leaders are crossing their fingers hoping the provincial budget being released Tuesday will be more favourable than last year’s offering.  

The City of North Battleford's Mayor Ryan Bater said he hopes some of last year's changes will be reversed.

Town opens waste transfer facility

Battleford residents will now be able to dispose of their garbage without having to cross the river to do it.

The Town of Battleford announced at its last meeting the new Loraas Environmental Services waste transfer station opened to the public on Tuesday.
