Award-winning performers coming to Dekker Centre
They have been called the Maritime’s “best kept secret” however Moe McGuinty is about to let the secret out onto the stage of the Dekker Centre this Sunday night at 8 p.m. as Gordie McKeeman and His Rhythm Boys get set to perform.
“These guys are going to be a lot of fun to watch,” said Dekker Centre general manager McGuinty. ”They call Gordie McKeeman ‘Crazy Legs’ and when you see him perform you’ll see why.”
The four-piece group has a unique sound that combines bluegrass, old-time country, folk, rockabilly, Celtic and swing for a two-hour show that will have your hands clapping and toes-tapping.
“This is a world class musical act coming to the Battlefords,” McGuinty added. “They have won numerous awards and have three albums to their credit and I’m looking forward to seeing them.”
