Biggar RCMP asking for help identifying robbery suspect

Biggar RCMP has released more details pertaining to a December robbery with hopes the public can help identify the suspect.

The robbery occurred at a business on Hwy. 14 in Biggar on Dec. 9, 2017. According to an RCMP release, further investigation revealed the vehicle involved to be a two-door, dark-coloured, 2000-2005 model Honda Civic or something similar. Police added they do not know the licence plate number.

RCMP describes the suspect as a Caucasian male, roughly 6’0” and a slender build. Police added at the time of the incident this individual was wearing a black and red checkered/plaid shirt, a navy blue or dark purple hooded sweater, gloves, black pants with a grey or white stripe down the sides and a black toque.

RCMP said the suspect entered the business and produced a handgun, then made off with cash and cigarettes.
