One injured in N.B. vehicle collision

One person was taken to hospital with none life threatening injuries after two vehicles collided in North Battleford Thursday afternoon.

RCMP and the North Battleford Fire Department had Territorial Dr. closed to one lane on each side of Pioneer Ave. for close to an hour while they cleaned up the scene.

According to RCMP, one person involved was taken to hospital with a suspected broken bone, but all others involved were cleared on scene.

The accident occurred at roughly 2 p.m. and police said the cause of the accident was one driver was “simply not paying attention.”

The intersection has been cleared and all lanes have reopened.

RCMP would like to remind the public to be extra cautious driving when snow on the ground could cause hazardous conditions.
