The case involving a man facing a charge of attempted murder has been remanded until Feb. 5 when the accused is scheduled to enter a plea.

Clayton Favel, 19, who is in custody, appeared in North Battleford provincial court via CCTV from Saskatoon, Monday.

The charges relate to a Jan. 5 shooting incident in North Battleford.

Favel is facing 19 charges including: attempted murder using a firearm, pointing a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent, commission of an offence to benefit a criminal organization, possession of property obtained by crime, and dangerous operation of a vehicle, among others.

He is scheduled to return to North Battleford provincial court on Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. via CCTV.

Defence lawyer Bill Archer said his client is waiting for disclosure, involving alleged surveillance video.

The accused must have no contact with seven individuals named in a court order.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
