Stucka case involving fatal crash heading to prelim.

The case involving Brandon Stucka, who is facing a number of charges related to a fatal crash on Sept. 22 near Lloydminster that killed three women and injured another woman, will be moving to a preliminary hearing.

Stucka, 26 of Lloydminster, appeared at North Battleford provincial court via CCTV from Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre, Thursday. 

Stucka remained silent during the proceedings as his legal counsel addressed the court.   

Representing Stucka, Legal Aid defence lawyer Andrew Lyster elected to set dates for a preliminary hearing on the serious charges related to the incident that include criminal negligence causing death, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
