Police aren’t commenting on the status of the driver who was involved in a suspected rollover this morning just outside North Battleford.

The accident was reported just before 10 a.m. today, six kilometers east of North Battleford on HWY. 16, and involved the single vehicle only. The car appeared to have veered off the road and slammed through a metal fence also taking down a support post for the fence. The driver of the vehicle, believed to be a female, was in the back of an ambulance which hadn’t left the scene when battlefordsNOW arrived. Fire services were also on scene.

Police wouldn’t comment on the status of the driver or if there were any passengers. Officers also couldn’t confirm the car rolled over at any point during the accident.

Police on scene only said that the car swerved off the road due to icy conditions and are asking motorists to drive with caution.
