Pair robbed and bear sprayed in North Battleford

Two people sustained minor injuries after being robbed and bear sprayed early this morning in North Battleford.

Around 12:30 a.m., RCMP were called to the 1300 block of 108 St where the pair indicated they were walking home when they were approached by two male youths who demanded money. When the couple refused, they were bear sprayed. The victims and the suspects both fled the scene. The victims were treated at hospital then released.

The investigation is continuing and the RCMP ask if you have details on this crime contact Battleford RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
